Opened in 1992, Carsington Water blends with its natural setting to create sailing facilities of an excellent quality.
The Club has a modern stone built clubhouse, large warm changing rooms with hot showers, as well as a fully stocked bar and extensive catering facilities. There is ample car and boat parking. In addition to three slipways boats can also be rigged on the foreshore.

The Club employs a Safety Boat driver during the week, which ensure there is full safety cover when the club is open, five days a week.

The Club organises racing Wednesday evenings and Sundays for dinghy, catamaran and board sailors, with Cruiser racing on Saturdays. (See Sailing Calendar)

Open Race Meetings also take place throughout the season.

Non racers are welcomed and general sailing takes place on most days.

The Club is a recognised RYA teaching centre, providing shore based, powerboat and Sailing Courses for adults and young people

In addition the club offers a range of Taster Sessions for those who would like to have a go and try out sailing.

Opening Times:
The Club is Open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 until Dusk, February until December.
The Club is Closed in January.

Bank Holidays:
The Club is open over Bank Holidays, when there will usually be a Social Event and / or Open Meeting. Please check for details.

For Safety the Club has a Wetsuit Rule, which applies from 1st November until end April.
