Safety Boat Training

Further Training for qualified power boat drivers

This course is only offered to Club Members, who have carried out a number of Safety Boat Driver duties. The purpose is to build on your existing skills and upgrade them to the level of Safety Boat driver.

This RYA course takes you through all of the essentials to be a Safety Boat driver and covers: Boat Handling, Rescue and Recovery Techniques, along with Towing. The course covers "real-life" type situations and following from the course you will be able to provide safety cover to a range of craft.

The course duration is Two Days, held at Carsington and is by Invitation Only.
