The club have a large and active racing programme, which includes a wide variety of Approved Boats which are permitted to sail from the club

Racing Series 2010:

Carsington Sailing Club is fortunate to sail most of the year, which allows the club to have a variety of seasonal racing series as well as a mid week evening series and a variety of regattas.
These are:
Frostbite
Spring (Series 1)
Summer and Autumn (Series 2)
Winter
Wednesday evening - between June and September.
Commodore's Cup
Charity Regatta
Club Trophy

Saturday:
Cruiser fleet racing has three races on a Saturday. There is one race in the morning, which starts at 11:00hrs. Afternoon racing commences at 13:30hrs, with the two races being held back to back.
This year there are 6 racing series (Please refer to the Sailing Calendar for details)

This year a Novice Handicap Series has been introduced for those starting racing. Please check with your racing coach for further details.

Sunday:
Dinghy and Catamaran fleet racing with starts at 11.00, 13.30 and 15:30 hrs.

Would you like to join in?

To allow Race Officers to run events we have two committe boats and a Race Hut. This allows Club Racing to (normally) continue in the event of an Open Meeting, or other event. For general information there is a document of racing signals and flags.
