Welcome to Carsington Sailing Club

We have a modern stone built clubhouse, large warm changing rooms with hot showers, as well as a fully stocked bar and extensive catering facilities. There is ample car and boat parking, and boats can be rigged on the foreshore.

We employ a Safety Boat driver, which ensure there is full safety cover when the club is open, five days a week

The club organises racing on Wednesday evenings and Sundays for dinghy, catamaran and board sailors, with cruiser racing on Saturdays.

Open Race Meetings also take place throughout the season.

Non racers are welcomed and general sailing takes place on most days.

The Club is a recognised RYA teaching centre, providing shore based, powerboat and sailing courses for adults and young people

Opening Times:
The Club is Open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 until Dusk, February until December.
The Club is Closed in January.

Bank Holidays:
The Club is open over Bank Holidays, when there will usually be a Social Event and / or Open Meeting. Please check for details.

For Safety we have a Wetsuit Rule, which applies from 1st November until end April.
