Club Duties
Being a club we need members to help keep the club running smoothly, which also helps keep Membership Fees down. Therefore we operate a Duty Rota for all of the key tasks, with training as appropriate.
Each time a half day's Duty is carried out a Voucher is issued with a value of £15. This is then refundable against the following year's membership. Therefore members who do a full day's duty receive £30.
Members assist the club by carrying out the following Duties:
Race Officer - After training, manage the races, also has Average points rewarded.
Race Officer Assistant - Helps race officers run the racing, also has Avergae Points rewarded..
Duty Officer - After training, welcomes people in the club, answers the telephone and carries out a variety of vital administrative roles.
Safety Boat Driver - After training, patrols the water and ensure that sailors are safe.
Safety Boat Crew - Assists Safety Boat Drivers.
