Day Sailing on Carsington Water
Day Sailing at Carsington Sailing Club costs £20 per day. This fee also makes you a temporary Day Member and allows full use of the club house and its facilities.
Whenever you sail at Carsington Sailing club there is always safety cover provided, five days a week.
Please contact the club before turning up in order to ensure that Day Sailing is available on the date in question.
Day Sailors must have boats within club Boat Limits and follow the Club Rules.
Health and Safety requirements must also be followed..
A simple check list is :
Craft in a Good Seaworthy Condition
Suitable 3rd Party Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £2m
Suitable Sailing Experience for the type of boat
Suitable Buoyancy Aid or Lifejackets for ALL Crew members.
For your own safety all Sailors on Carsington Water MUST Wear a Suitable Buoyancy Aid, or Life Jacket at ALL Times.
Wetsuits or Drysuits must be worn at all times when on the water between November 1 and April 30
Weekly Rate: We offer Weekly Rates and Overnight Storage of boats for anyone wishing to sail over their holiday period.
