Safety Review Effective 23rd June 2007 - Important Changes, which ALL members should take note of.

Weekday Sailors take Note:The Commodore and Management Committee would like remind all sailors who sail weekdays they must observe the Club Rules. Irrespective of the craft sailed, weekday sailors must report to the officer in charge.


The water
740 acre man made reservoir owned by Severn Trent Water PLC.

CSC share the use of over 400 acres with ST`s Watersports Centre, the remainder being designated a nature reserve.

3 pontoon jetties and ample foreshore allow easy access at all water levels throughout the season.

A modern fleet of  7 power boats ensure the safety of members and day sailors out on the water. Please note though that Safety Cover is only provided at weekends and Bank Holidays.

For Racing we have a Race box on the Island and two Committee Boats.

A fleet of boats from Oppies to Squibs are available to hire to members at very competitive rates.

Training is provided using our fleet of boats and we also enjoy a fully equipped Training Room.

The clubhouse
Our modern stone built clubhouse is the envy of most other clubs, warm, dry and possessing both a fully licensed bar and a catering franchise providing hot and cold food throughout the season.

Secure parking with separate disabled spaces, leading to.

Ample changing facilities with hot showers are provided for both sexes.

A separate training room has recently been built which provides a warm and quiet area away from the bustle of the bar and dining areas. This classroom has state of the art computer equipment to aid the many training courses available to our members to further their sailing enjoyment.
