This is an Open Event to all Topper sailors but you must be a member of the Class Association to race (membership details are on the web site) and can only sail with a valid championship number.

We look forward to welcoming you at Carsington Sailing Club on October 20th/21st.

No overnight camping/caravanning is allowed on our premises and this is strictly enforced.  However within 500yds of the club there are several camp sites, they have been informed of the event, and there is plenty of space available.  The closest one is Kirkham Farm (tel 01629 540208).  There are also some B&B's locally, many within 20 minutes of the club.

Due to the number of competitors attending the event we are using a car park adjacent to the club entrance which is free to all those involved with the event – a pass will be issued at the gate for you to use over the weekend.  You will be able to drive into the club and drop off your boat and then proceed to the adjacent car park – just a very short walk from the clubhouse and dinghy park.  There will be no on-site parking during the event for competitors. The club grounds will be locked at night and your boat will be safe and secure.

Sailing Solutions will be coming and their van will be on site during the event to provide spares - there is no chandler on site or close by.

Our Galley will be open for meals from 0800hrs on Saturday and Sunday.  The galley will provide pasta & sauce for competitors after racing on both days. We are also planning to have a BBQ and disco on the Saturday night together with some entertainment – if you want these please pre-book and pay in advance during registration (this is so the galley can plan ahead).

We would also be grateful for any parents who would be able to help during the event, for example crewing the rescue boats and other assistance. If there are any volunteers could you please let me know ASAP.

If you have any questions or require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me or the club (tel. 01629 540609).
